What we publish
Orthodox Healing and Wonder gathers writing on medicine, wellness, and contemplation from inside the Orthodox Christian Tradition. We do not aim to be exhaustive. We aim to be honest — to publish work in which clinical seriousness and theological depth coexist without apology.
The magazine gathers voices from across the Tradition — clinicians, nurses, homesteaders, and clergy — and is supplemented by a curated reading list. We are slow on purpose. We publish what we believe will be read again.

How We Work
At Orthodox Healing and Wonder, our mission is to curate stories and insights that contribute to the spiritual and physical wellness of the faithful. We are guided by the following core principles.
The Theology of Grace and Cooperation
We believe that true healing and wonder are not self-generated achievements, but Graces extended to us by God. Our content reflects the understanding that we do not create these moments; rather, we enter into them through humble cooperation with the Lord. Our writing seeks to witness to the "invisible graces that sustain life".
The "Work of the Bee": Diligence and Peace
We draw deep inspiration from the humble and selfless toil of the bee. In ancient Paschal hymns, we offer thanks to the bees for their vital contribution in creating the wax used for our candles. Like the bee, we strive to provide content that serves the community's well-being with humility and very little fuss — uplifting, consistently positive, and life-giving. By engaging with the intricate beauty of the created world, we help our audience find peace in the presence of the Holy Trinity.
Ecclesiastical Integrity
All content is produced with the awareness and blessing of our respective priests and Bishops. We strictly avoid areas of public and Church politics, divisive topics, and reactionary commentary. Our focus remains steadfastly on the wonder of creation and the sacramental life.
The Sacramental Lens
Our editorial focus is the Incarnate world. We believe that engaging with the beauty of creation is a path to healing. By focusing on the marvels in the wonders of the Lord's creation, we invite our readers into a contemplative space of prayer and discovery.
